How to get Pro

  1. Open ScrollGist on a supported video (Instagram, Facebook or X).
  2. In Settings, tap Pro plans. This page opens with checkout ready for your browser.
  3. Pick a plan and pay. Pro turns on in ScrollGist within a minute.

Don't see Pro plans? Your copy of ScrollGist hasn't updated yet. Chrome updates extensions on its own within a few hours; restarting the browser speeds it up. Not installed yet? Get it from the Chrome Web Store.

🔑 Prefer to stay free? Use your own API key

ScrollGist works with your own AI provider account. In the extension open Settings → Analysis Mode and pick “My own API key (advanced)”, then paste your key. Audio transcription needs a Groq or OpenAI key; summaries, explanations and idea maps can also use Google Gemini, Anthropic, Mistral or OpenRouter. In this mode your requests go straight from your browser to that provider — no limits from us, and nothing passes through our servers.

Groq is the quickest place to start: one free key covers both transcription and analysis.
